The idea of EPIC Ski Tour comes from the Tour de Ski creator Jürg Capol, now Director of the Nordic department at FIS Marketing AG, who says: “The idea came up during a phone call with Kurt Anrather. Skimounteneering is a amazing and wonderful sport and this discipline deserves a new, intense event in where people from all over the world might get in touch and share the experience – we just had to find a located in the heart of the Italian Dolomites.”
